Our home is also up 42% since we purchased it 4 1/2 years ago. Our estimate on
Zillow is actually pretty accurate for what homes are being listed and/or sold for in our neighborhood. I have also "claimed" our home on Zillow and updated all of the specifications and finishes to give me a more accurate figure than just its general estimate.
