Been having a lot of lower back pain lately. Usually a monthly massage keeps my back feeling good but for the last two weeks I've had some pretty constant pain that won't go away. Was concerned about it enough that I made an appointment to see a guy I know who is a chiro. I'm not a huge believer in chiros in general and that's why I've avoided them until now.
I come in for my appointment sit down and start to explain what's been going on and it's pretty clear he just wants me to get on the table. So I finish explaining (not really feeling like he was even paying attention) and get on the table. He pops my back and neck about four different ways and then I'm done. The whole thing start to finish was four minutes. Tells me if things aren't feeling better to come back in next week.
I was underwhelmed to say the least. Is this normal? Is all chiro a one-size-fits-all treatment approach? I was expecting a little more and don't feel the need to go back and pay $35 for him to do that again. Should I look into another place or will it be more of the same?
