in less than 48 hours. With very conservative investing you can gain some money and still have quick access to it within 2 days. If I need something right away I could pay with credit card, and then pay it off after getting the savings fund liquid. I don't see much downside but the upside is there. I am not trying to 'make money' off of it, but it is a nice perk.
