KW likes explosive offenses. Thats a surprise to some but he loved the Urban era at Utah.

That’s why he brought in prolific pass-oriented OCs from the FCS ranks in ARod and Troy Taylor.

Norm and Christensen also pass oriented.

They’ve all come with the idea of incorporating more passing...but Utah has struggled mostly because of poor execution and limited QBs’ ability.

While play calling has been balanced, UU has found fantastic success running the ball. But that doesn’t mean it’s designed to be a run only offense.

Brewer has the ability to break that trend because he’s comfortable in the pocket and can run multiple progressions in a play.

Utah has never really had a true pocket passer in the KW era.
