Oh I disagree, the offense does matter.
when Utah's offense has been good then BYU hasn't been close to winning. You are correct that Utah's defense alone is enough to keep it close for but if the offense is anything like they are predicting, BYU has their work cut out for them to say the least.

Losing a break out RB the way we did is a tough spot to be in as well. Especially for how much running we do.

One thing you can always count on with Utah--really good DL/secondary play, and they will run the ball.
