What best practices do you suggest implementing for retention with frontline merchandising jobs? We currently are turning one person a month.
Also, we are in a very competitive market where supply of jobs in the industry is high, but we struggle finding enough people to even interview. We need to extend our reach to get more solid candidates interviewing. I was thinking maybe a job fair of the sort. Anyone have anything?
We are in a big city so it’s a tough location for people to commute in and out of.
Challenge 1: retention of new hires
Challenge 2: getting enough people to interview as we have recs open, but not enough people applying.
We cannot adjust the pay, but we are above average for the industry.
