she said she learned that cuts will eventually heal on their own and you only need to take your kids in if they lose enough blood they start to pass out.

I bled pretty good with scars on my head, hands, arms and legs but never felt like I was going to pass out so I never got stitches. Eventually (up to 3-4 hours later), with enough pressure to slow the flow, the blood gets sticky and seals things up.

As a teen she also told me I was nice looking but I wouldn’t ever have a modeling career so stitches didn’t make sense.

She was right. Eventually.
