Gathered data about every program in my field. They compiled a spreadsheet with program statrt times, application deadlines, minimum requirements, attrition rates, acceptance rates, positions available, board exam pass rates, etc. It was actually very useful in helping me decide what schools I was interested in. The spreadsheet saved me dozens or hundreds of hours of work and was worth the money.
But once I decided on the schools i wantednto apply to, i dont think a consultant would have been any value. I just contacted each school directly and talked to them about their requirements.
