So based on last year's week 16 standings & the CFP poll, the playoff teams
would be:
1. Alabama (SEC champ)
2. Clemson (ACC champ)
3. Ohio State (Big 10 champ)
4. Oklahoma (Big 12 champ)
5. Cincinnati (SEC champ)
6. Coastal Carolina/Louisiana (Sun Belt champ)
7. Notre Dame (at large)
8. Texas A & M (at large)
9. Iowa State (at large)
10. Florida (at large)
11. Georgia (at large)
12. Indiana (at large)
That would have been fun to watch.
If an undefeated BYU would have jumped over Indiana in the rankings, BYU would have been in play for that last at large bid, had we not lost to Coastal Carolina.
