and the 3rd QB is so close behind that the coaches are considering the competition a legitimate 3 QB race. That was more than we had coming into 2019 when Wilson was the clear cut starter. If you think the 2021 squad can only be determined in hindsight, then why are you even opining?

It's pretty unusual for the program of the last 20+ years to have 3 QBs with so much promise coming into a season. In the Bronco era, we always only had 1-2 quality QBs and then a steep drop off. Kalani has done a much better job building depth at the QB position and all position groups on offense.
