That sign and trade doesn't work. Maybe you do Schroeder for $20M (still high, but within realm of possibility), Kuzma for $13M, Caruso for $9M. But I'm again not sure that makes the Lakers better and probably requires them to give CP3 a huge contract extension, which could be a long-term issue.
