I just outlined a way the Lakers could get Chris Paul.
But I just don't think CP3 > Schroeder/Kuzma/Caruso/Mathews/Harrell/Drummond etc which is what the 20-21 Lakers would be losing to add him.
Plus, the hard cap would limit any buyouts or other methods of improvement. And CP3, LeBron, AD would mean no room to improve the 2 seasons after that either.
Especially not in a season where 10 teams have over $20M in cap room with limited free agents - going to be hard to get quality vets for the min. And if it's the veteran min, that's $2.5M which rules out Horton-Tucker as well, so we can add him to the pieces being lost
