indoor at night, they park as close side by side as possible to deter this. Looked like a total pain in the rear but I guess converter theft has been a problem. This is in a perfectly fine, safe commercial area.

I was in Dallas this past week. THey had a segment on it in local news as well as a dealership had 30 of their cars
