It seems that the problem is a critical mass problem. If we have enough good police officers-the criminals are caught after one or two crimes because there are enough resources to follow leads. Property would be restored as well. Those criminals would not be repeat offenders. everyone is safer. Crime is down.

There needs to be a better way to allow the police to police the police and weed out the bad apples that are causing the bad PR.

Police officer working together with citizens of the community to make a safer community. Reachable goal. Police officers that are so underfunded that they CANT do their job, recipe for disaster. Police officers setting up speed traps and writing tickets to generate city revenue....not cool.
