I was against joining the AAC, but I think you make valid points. BYU FOR SURE
would be in the mix for a #6 playoff spot year in and year out. After last year I realized how much I missed BYU competing for something. Which also made me more interested in other teams competing for the same thing. I want that feeling again, even if it means we play 3 or 4 less P5 teams a year.
I’d rather be in the play offs every 3-4 years in the AAC vs being in the playoffs every 15-20 years being independent. It’s just more fun and relevant in my mind.

What possible value does SDSU add? Even Boise is questionable. None of the contortions people pull to make this bad
