Your bagging on BSU is exactly how Stanford/USC/Northwestern look at BYU
It would behoove us all to recognize the great things that BSU's athletics program done and to realize that the AAC is not a conference of academic powerhouses. A conference with Memphis and Tulsa (and that you wish would add UNLV and a notorious party school like SDSU) has no basis to turn up their noses at BSU academics.
It might be good for you to hike the Y sometime soon and look at Utah Valley. Even with all the growth it's a surprisingly rural area, and it strikes me as funny that you'd look down your nose at a school in a larger city (and with more athletic success in the last 20 years) as if you were some sort of cosmopolitan.

What possible value does SDSU add? Even Boise is questionable. None of the contortions people pull to make this bad
