I went to a coaching clinic right before the pandemic hit in 2020 and Pierce was one of the speakers. He has a big personality, but comes off extremely arrogant at times and even mentioned you have to push the line to compete. I totally understand how he was both able to get others to cross that line with him, as well as how he easily others were to turn on him.

It's sad, because our staff also spent time at ASU's spring practice in 2019 and I was very impressed with the way Herm ran the program, and as a veteran of the game he should have known better.
