whipping the other scouts into shape, getting the leaders to go, etc, if I wanted to be able to do any long backpack trips. We had a pack check the night before to make sure everyone had what they needed and nothing more. So we get out on the trails and a couple days later, I found out that this guy had stuffed about 15 lbs of candy into his pack because he didn't trust that we were going to have enough food to eat at mealtime.
