In recruiting years it was 5 because most of the recruiting was done before he
Got going.

Quit trying to defend the indefensible the scholarship miss management by the prior coach was horrific for the offensive and defensive lines and it takes years to rebuild that.

Last year was Kehlani‘s fifth year. That means any player that was recruited in Kehlani‘s first recruiting here, who went on a mission and redshirt he was either a sophomore freshman or maybe a few juniors last year. Tonga came with Kalani as a two star recruit and went right on a mission. When he came back he was forced to play right away because of lack of depth. That was 100% on bronco

Usually they say it takes 3 to 4 years to give a coach a fair chance, at BYU that’s 5 to 6 years because of missions and bronco produced in year five which was really his 4th year for because of how late he got started in his first year.

That’s not under performing, that’s over performing.

Left to the recruiting and scholarship limitations placed on our program by bronco Mendenhall we would have fallen below Yewtah State by now if there hadn’t be a change. This program was crashing and Kalani pulled it out of the dive
