Alfrey & Jones are both expected to be high-end talents who could probably contribute their first year if needs be.
And Micah Harper --as some of us predicted a while ago-- has been officially moved by the coaches from Corner to Safety. He was such a talented Corner --& particularly strong in run support-- it seemed a bit unfortunate to me that his size & top speed basically destined to keep him from being a star player he otherwise has the makeup of being. But at Safety the sky could be the limit for him, I thought. The kid's also a quick study as we all saw last season. And some seem to think he'll be ready to go mid-season from his injury (in his Covid-freebie). I'd guess that means his ACL tear wasn't all the acute, with little collateral damage.
With Chaz ready to go at full speed, though, we should be every bit as good as last season, believe it or not. And quite possibly better. Not having him last year cost us more than many realize. The kid's instincts, physicality & understanding of the game are a level better than our two solid Seniors from last season, I think.
