both sides are right.

The whiny children are correct in that college is ridiculously over priced, and that old codgers/boomers who were (as a generation) terrible with money and are responsible for the inevitable bankrupting of our country have very little ground to stand on when they start waxing poetic about how irresponsible the current generation is.

The boomers are correct in saying that the whiny children have many things waaaaay better than previous generations and that the most responsible of the whiny children still have plenty of pathways to financial success open to them if they’d stop complaining and just make it happen.

So the argument just goes around and around to the amusement of those of us who are neither entitled boomers nor entitled children.
