Your dog isn’t “stupid”….imagine having hearing 1,000 times greater than your

Own….and having fireworks sound like someone is blowing them up right next to your ear? I can completely understand why many dogs are afraid. It’s much much louder to them and they may feel like they’re in danger, because they don’t understand what these loud things are.
