Pretty good observations. I’ve noticed that sporting events all kind of feel the same now
They’ve really homogenized the experience and every stadium seems to now have the vibe of a crummy rock concert. They all play the same songs using same-looking graphics on the Jumbotron, and any time the action stops for more than 2 seconds, start bombarding you with songs, ads, etc. I used to enjoy baseball because it was a more laid-back stadium experience where you could eat a hot dog and chat and kind of casually watch. But now it seems they’ve decided that what will bring in the most ADD addled fans is non-stop “entertainment” and so we get the exact same aggressive assault on so many of our senses at every sporting event.
