You're just assuming that the people who disagree with you on one thing are the same group that disagree on something else which isn't true at all.

I've been as vocal as anyone that we should be joining the AAC and that I don't believe Independence is a good long-term choice. And I think it would be terrible to pass up a big, nationally-televised marquee matchup with Notre Dame in Las Vegas.

If anything, I'd think the blind optimists ("we'll just play Notre Dame in Provo!" and "Going to AAC likely caps our playoff seed at #12, so no way we want to do that") are going to be the ones who argue against taking a Vegas game.

Whereas the realists/pessimists (depending on your view) are going to be the ones who consider the reality of the situation and our lack of leverage and understand that ND in LV is absolutely better for the program than a few million.
