But there's no way that BYU should trade a home game for a road game 400 miles away and in a different time zone.

The USC game was one of the highlights of my life - to see a program like that come to Provo (and to see BYU knock them off) will always be one of my most cherished sports memories.

BYU has already been more than accommodating with Notre Dame. A 4-2 series (scheduled to wrap up by 2020) has already been changed to a 2-1 series and BYU has played their games in South Bend (in back-to-back years, no less). It's not out of place to want to see a contract honored - especially if you feel taken advantage of.

By all means, play a game in Vegas. But BYU fans should get a chance to see the Irish in Provo again, and if that isn't going to happen then Notre Dame should follow through with the contract and pay up.
