Liberty fan here and just gauging interest from BYU fans. Would a long term commitment between LU and BYU to play annually at At&T Stadium in Dallas Friday night same week Conference Championship games are played be of interest? Seems like BYU would like it for recruiting DFW, more TV eyeballs that weekend and a good (and fairly easy access) travel destination,overwhelming home field advantage ratio compared to LU fans, as well as a fresh “last impression” for Playoff Committee vs not playing that week. LU would obviously love to play BYU annually, but in my mind it is a tough ask to get BYU excited to sign on to traveling to VA every other year with your already tough travel mileage. Each team alternates “home” team annually. I believe there are current geographic restrictions on neutral field relative to “hosting” recruits, but overall is this “laughable” or intriguing to your fan base.
