Appreciate the sentiment but not asking from a standpoint of how it could help Liberty. Clearly BYU is a storied program and levels above LU - simply asking as a fellow Independent IF dropping any FCS or weak G5 home games makes enough sense with the new 12 team Playoff implications ( BYU will be competing with 2-3 loss SEC teams or 2 loss P5 teams for 7-12th seed ) The location, date and recruiting aspect and assumption LU isn’t “ horrible year in and year out” - is that intriguing? Or is Dixie St at home more important ( example ). My perception was BYU lamented the loss of TCU recruiting angle and that BYU traveled very well to past games in Arlington ( and yes I know LU isn’t OU ).
