I've been interested in pivoting my engineering degree into a new career via an MBA. My family circumstances make a part-time/evening MBA at a local university seem like the best option, but the path is still a little unclear. Though it's becoming obvious to me that I don't want to be an engineer forever, I know that I can't just jump into something like an MBA without a plan.

Is this a bad idea? Any thoughts?
