You are right but aside from being a crappy school, they now have an NFL stadium

to play in and a basketball program that would likely explode if they were in a major conference. I really think they could do very well after a transition period. The fact that they could do well and hold on to Vegas-area recruits might be just enough for USC and others to not want them.
