before making a huge business decision, always study the competition. For UNLV,

the competition just got substantially harder/stronger. The NFL team will take the attention and money from casual fans. If UNLV already had a strong fan base, then perhaps they could wither the competition like Washington does. UNLV has a quite weak fan base.

I think it would be a quite poor strategy for the PAC-12 to bring in UNLV with the hope that UNLV will blossom.
