The Utah QB has stated publicly and privately that ...

he came to BYU to compete at QB and not to play DB. He has told the entire team that he left Utah because "they tried to turn him into a DB".

As much as BYU fans love to jump to the "let's make him a safety", this kid came to compete at QB and according to his own words, that's why he came.
