So the gap between Big 10 teams and Big 12 teams is 33.88571
and the gap between Big 12 teams and Mac teams is 64.81667.

The gap distance is nearly double in favor of my post. Will that gap shrink without UT and OU? Absolutely, but if the Big 12 could steal Nebraska, then the gap would not shrink as much. I would like to see the big 12 try to get Nebraska, Colorado, A&M, Arkansas, BYU, Utah, Arizona, ASU. All of those schools could add value.

Now, in reality, it is much more likely that the Big 12 teams all abandon ship to whoever will take them, but that would be bad for BYU, so all I can do is hope.
