For a lower end P5 school to finish the reg season in the top #5 and play in the CCG for the 2nd year in a row
is exceptional when compared to other lower ties P5 schools in other conferences.

Even if Utah wins the CCG, they likely lose to an SEC or Big 10 program in the next game. The delta in resources and talent between a school like Utah and the dominant blue bloods is huge.

I don't think Utah gets hung up on losses to elite programs.

They recognize the key is for Utah to use each step to upgrade their profile and improve recruiting. From that perspective, 2019 was fantastic for Utah.
