My sister in law just got some kind of settlement from Ford on her vehicle which had tons of problems. See my post above
For JD Power rankings on reliably. Ford is way down on the list.
These days the big 3 all make good trucks. My ‘03 Silverado has 270k with no engine or transmission repairs.
Of course it’s only one point of reference but the JD Power ranking for heavy duty and light duty trucks rank Chevrolet and Ram one and two. Ford not on top for any truck segment.
But as mentioned, I think each truck maker makes a good product these days. Ford must be doing some good marketing because I think lots of people think Ford is the most reliable, but the defect numbers don’t support it. I was kind of surprised that the author of this poll even included Ford with the other options.
