Nasty. I’d probably legit puke if I was draining what I thought was an abscess and larvae came out.
I agree with the above if the redness and swelling go down over the next few days you’re good. If not I’d go get antibiotics and maybe a more thorough incision and drainage.

No advice, but I heard about a biologist who placed a container over the wound and kept it there until the fly emerged
