FYI - if your Accord is a 2018-2020, Honda has announced an extended warranty

for the A/C condenser to 10 years from the original date of purchase with unlimited miles due to determination that some A/C condensers were defective from the factory. If you have one of the defective condensers, no cost repair. PS LiveCoug posted his car is a Nissan.

If the Freon is too low, the compressor won’t turn on. So it’s possible that’s the problem. But who knows.

Yeah, looks like the best bet is Freon with no leak stop if you can get it and then have it repaired later.

Freon is a general term for refrigerants that wasn't initially used for 134A but most people do now.
