You marching band haters need to get over your insecurities. They are
A part of the college game day atmosphere everywhere. Your problems with it are are your problem, at some level. Let the band lovers love the band and find some other less self-condemning, self-conscious axe to grind. The band is not really the issue, I don’t think.
Some are uninterested or embarrassed to sing Hymns at Church, too. That does not making Hymn-singing inappropriate, and no one forces the non-singers to sing. It is part of praising and the non-participants can elect to not join in it. Hopefully, they don’t have to lower their opinion of Church because of the Hymns
Go ahead and flame me, but there is truth in some of my words. I expect to be ignored by some, but if you do that to me, why can’t you do it with the band issues. Some of you are like JJ when it comes to the band.
