In that scenario, the MWC could lose Boise plus other schools and the AAC would likely lose Houston, Cincy, and UCF.

The best play for the B12 would be to take BYU and Boise State as travel partners and then Houston and Cincy. That would get them to 12 teams. If they can't handle Boise academics and want a Florida footprint, then UCF over Boise.
