Ordinary people may do extraordinary things, and also may often fail to do extraordinary things. But the experience of competing at the level she does is a pressure of an entirely different sort (not necessarily more or less, but of a different sort entirely) than you or I will ever face. It’s incredible the heights of self-regard and absence of self awareness shown in you holding up your experiences as relevant in judging her greatness.
