For the region, definitely premier.
It’s a 5-6 state transfer hospital. Additionally, Utah med students/Utah medical residents have cachet outside the state. I was able to land elite Fellowship interviews based on where I trained.
Is it Harvard/Stanford? No. But it is right up there just a tier below those programs.
As always though, the person is the most important thing. The name just maybe helps you get in the door, and if you are good, generally you’ll succeed regardless of where you did your training.
