Interesting perspective from HMASON15. Nobody has been talking that perspective, but it has merit. However, this perspective was discussed when the Big 12 lost 4 teams and gained 2 10 years ago. They talked stability with 10 and round robin. It had its place at the time, but the Big 12 should have added teams later, even if the conference payout per school would have been slightly less. With only 10 teams compared to 14 for most, the # of bowl bids, NFL draft picks, All American players, total revenue, etc. the Big 12 was last and the media would bring that up It didn't help the Big 12's reputation. I would go at least 12 teams with BYU, Cinci, Memphis, and Houston. I am fine too with Central Florida and South Florida as a travel partner for 14 teams.
