I havent followed it too closely - my understanding is they wanted to get paid

something different than the contract they collectively bargained and agreed to? Also, didnt they want to be paid the same as men for the World Cup when it isnt US Soccer that determines that? I could definitely be wrong, but that was my interpretation from articles I read a year or two ago.......
