basketball scene overall since Yao though. They did produce a ton of 7 footers however it came about, but they haven't had anybody even close to Yao's ability level since. Just guys that come over for like 2 years usually and then get sent back because they aren't good enough. It's wild....you would think just on a sheer #'s basis they would be cranking prospects out yearly. Problem is, they just drill, drill, drill when they are young and No free flowing....natural rhythms to the majority of chinese players' games. I'm not sure I can even recall one Chinese player that had elite court vision and I watch quite a few highlight tapes of guys that lead leagues in assists around the world.....because I love watching pure passing PGs....wherever they are found....but I usually come up empty looking at CBA guys.
