At night, came up over a small hill going about 60 mph and suddenly saw 4 or 5 sets of glowing eyes staring back at me. Very small instinctual tap on the brakes as I plowed right through them. My friends and I all let out a synchronized 'Whoa!' followed by a brief silence. Then the u-turn to see what carnage was left.

Wasn't pretty. Normally I wouldn't have felt too badly...cuz ya know...trash pandas. But being in the wild, I did have a tinge of regret. Didn't help that one of my buddies said, 'Wow man...you took out the mom and dad and a few kids.'
