Costa Vida stole everything but the name from Cafe Rio. I’ve had this happen

to me in business before and this sort of thing never feels ethical to me. Legal, sure but legal and ethical are rarely synonymous. So I won’t support that sort of blatant rip-off of recipes, menu design, work flow, restaurant design, etc.

I’m sure many will disagree and they’re certainly entitled to their opinion about that. I won’t hear it though.

BTW, Costa Vida just went out of business in my town. Cafe Rio going strong. So 🤷‍♂️?
