No one would say, at this point, that someone who preferred Rattler of Conover
was wrong. Thus far, with everything we know, that position has been proven very accurate. That could change in the future, but it will take a lot. And by the way, Rattler as a freshman was way more accomplished than Conover is now. Again, not an insult. The point is that it’s silly to compare the 2 in any way. At no time in their relevant histories would it be logical to say they are all that close. And again, this is not a slight against Conover. Rattler is just pretty dang special, while Conover is a third-string QB for an unranked team. Of course, he has a decent chance of still being an excellent college QB. Just don’t try to compare him to the best QB in college at this point.
