On top of this, TCU isn't a great school

It is a very small school without a great academic history, that does less research than BYU. It doesn't, in any way, fit the requirements the PAC-12 traditionally has wanted.

As near as I can tell, these rumors came from TCU, and have no basis in realitiy.
