ASU is overrated
Herm Edwards is a good coach, he will have his team ready to go. But ASU is very overrated, they have a weak defense and an average offense. Daniels likes to run more than he does pass which I think bolds well for BYU. UNLV in the first half did just fine keeping their offense in check... that is not good news if you are a ASU fan.
Their defense is not good either, they are not fast like some P5 defenses we have seen in the past. UNLV ran all over them in the first half, BYU should have 200+ yards on the ground next week. They have no standouts on the defense and BYU will move the ball just fine against them.
This will be a tough game, but it is a much better matchup compared to Utah. I expect a comfortable win against ASU, they are not battled tested whatsoever and have a very overrated QB. Bring pressure like Tuiaki did against Utah and it will be a long day for them.
