Let's agree to disagree ...
I am fairly certain that I've been in more CFB stadiums across the country for big games than most CB posters. I've been to numerous BYU games at LES, and LES isn't on my top 10 list of daunting atmospheres. It's just not. Sorry.
No disrespect though. To be sure, LES will be loud this Saturday. But there's a difference between loud AND raucous.
In the half dozen times I've been to RES, it's loud and raucous.
Autzen Stadium is raucous.
Kinnick Stadium was raucous.
Husky Stadium can be raucous (and nerve-wracking when the upper deck literally shakes).
Sanford Stadium would have been raucous, but there was a torrential downpour.
Back in the day when it was 72K+, Sun Devil Stadium was raucous.
Camp Randall was raucous outside the stadium, but surprisingly docile inside the stadium. It was loud, for sure, but more subdued than I expected.
Believe it or not, Bryant-Denney Stadium too is pretty tame as well. Ya, it can get loud. But overall, it's hard for Alabama fans to get too raucous when they've only lost one home game in ten years.
