BlooCoog Intervention Needed
Love her post for a couple reasons: she reminds him that athletes are human
beings with feelings. People need to be more loving with how they treat athletes and coaches. It’s not okay to be un-Christlike. Like the CB poster on here who recently wished “bad karma” on Kyle Whittingham. Not cool.

I get that Max said some unkind things about Utah fans and their team in the rivalry 12 years ago. it wasn’t okay. He was young at the time and in the heat of a rivalry moment. Ute fans had treated his family like crap, but he still wasn’t justified in saying what he said. He’s a grown man now and people need to forgive him for his youthful mistakes.

Max’s wife points out that addiction is an awful thing and that it takes courage to overcome that; it should not be ridiculed. As a mental health therapist I second her opinion. People who overcome addictions should be applauded, not mocked. It is a hard thing.

Max is blessed to have a wife who will defend him like that and is willing to call people out. Good for her.
